This is an Apache Native American, one of a kind in design, fully beaded pen. It is 6 in long and was hand beaded using the peyote stitch method directly on the pen in metallic blue, lilac, metallic purple, black, red, orange, yellow, and white color size 15 seed beads.

The fine intricate beadwork on this pen was done directly on the pen, no backing of any sort was used.

When the ink runs out it can be refilled easily by removing only the tip of the pen, sliding the ink out, and replacing it with the inside of another Bic pen (see picture).
