This is a miniature horsehair Native American made, very tightly woven basket pottery.

The pottery weaving pattern was done in a traditional light tan and with black horsehair coiled fine design. It measures just a little over 1 in tall by .75 across.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to find miniature horsehair baskets of quality from either Arizona or New Mexico states as we believe the Art of Horsehair Weaving is a dying art among the younger Native Americans. {sku 1178}
