This is an awesome quartz mineral specimen from the Santa Eulalia mining district of Mexico. Portions of it glows fluorescent red under our UV light. And the same areas exhibit phosphorescence too! Phosphorescence is when the mineral specimen is exposed to UV lighting and continues to glow after the lighting is removed. Sometimes for only a few seconds, as this one does.
This quartz mineral specimen measures approx 1 in tall, by 3 in long, by 3 in wide. {sku 1341}
